"My special needs daughter is 21. She had 5 orthopedic surgeries 3 years ago. Unfortunately she can't wear typical shoes anymore. These have been a life saver. Except you really need to keep in mind that. A lot of special needs individuals are developmentally delayed. She gets so upset that your adult choices do not have the fun kid choice colors she doesn't want plain shoes. Also, you only have two choices, in adult with the very good tread. She has the purple and teal but does not want the other Olive and pink. Or we would have gotten multiple cuz she likes matching to her outfits."
"This sneaker is perfect for short transfers in seating. The color and design were a real pleaser. All of the Billy shoes I have purchased have been perfect for my daughter with CP."
"Cute"
"great quality and true to size! My sons very happy with them :)"
"Very comfortable and fit his AFO well."
"These are so cute! Love the low top option for adaptable shoes"
"I like these shoes because my son likes them and they are easy for him to put them. For school they are convenient as he can put them by himself."
"Super cute but not great for SMO braces. Even after going up a size and taking out the inserts in the shoes it was very tight squeeze for my daughter’s braces. She fights me putting them over her braces because they seem to squeeze them really tight on her foot."
