- I love these shoes fit nice over my grandson braces. I understand why the other one go on sale for $22 but how come never wides go on sale and yes it was great Target carry’s then now but no wides. Hard to find shoes.
- Thanks so much for the question. By “wide” I’m thinking you are referring to the D|R collection. If not, there are some women’s wide options available on sale right now, like the Mocs and Women’s Sneakers. Regarding the D|R collection though, our clearance sales typically include all of our seasonal styles that we are discontinuing. As such, core styles like our Grey Jersey High Tops, Pink Print, White Rainbow, and our D|R collection are typically not included in these clearance sales because these core styles are ongoing. In terms of getting core-type items at a discount though, we do have flash sales occasionally where all products on billyfootwear.com are available at a reduced price. - Is the top on the extra wides larger that the wides? The wide doesn’t fit our hinged AFOs at the top of the shoe but they almost do, so I was curious if the extra wides would.
- Yes, the upper on the XDR is wider than the WDR and MDR. Hope that helps :)
- My son hates wearing socks. It’s a real struggle. Do you have any shoes he can wear without socks but also all year? We’re in PA so winter can be a bit much.
- Great question. All BILLY shoes have a soft insole so can be worn without socks if you choose to do so. That said, you may need a few different styles for different times of the year. For example, the canvas styles would be better for summer, whereas the winter boots (launching soon) would be better for the colder months. Hope that helps :)
