Great shoes no lie
"I love all the shoes, this short zipper works and hasn't had any issues with it as of yet but he also hasn't worn it often either. But let me please suggest a small add on to the long zippered shoes. If you added a peice of fabric over zipper they might could last longer than 3 months. Its such a weak point and it splits right at the toe."

"I bought these for my son who wear hinged AFO's, his feet are very wide, we've tried another style of Billy's before, low tops, and they lasted around 3 months, not the shoes fault, my son is just hard on shoes with his braces, we ordered these as a replacement to try a different style, but the bottom sole on both shoes came off within a week and two wears to school only. I contacted customer support and they were so helpful! They replaced these asap with the billy goat model and told me that in the future the billy goat model would likely hold up for my son's style of afo better. So this shoes? Not fantastic for us specifically, but the experience overall was great."

"We bought a pair back in October, the zipper broke in November at first I was really upset about it then I went on the website and seen the warranty that they have for a short time. I started the process of getting them replaced and we got new ones pretty quickly. Luckily I was able to pick up a pair of shoes for my son at Walmart he wears AFO's so I need something wide. So now fingers crossed these new ones will work. The person that helped me was very helpful and told me if these ones don't work with his braces then she had a different pair in mind."

"This is our second style of BILLY Shoes that we have purchased. The design with the zipper higher up on the shoe is still completely compatible with our adaptive needs. All of the other BILLY features that make these shoes are still in place so we are able to use them easily to help promote good habits and ease of use with our needs."

"The fit was great! Due to the AFOs makeup the they are difficult to insert into the shoes. I think if the zipper came down a little further it would be a lot easier. The zipper on these shoes are located in a different spot than previous shoes."
