"The Down Syndrome Association of Middle Georgia was formed in 2005 as Middle Georgia Buddy Walk working with the National Down Syndrome Society to organize an annual Buddy Walk to raise awareness and funding for programs at the local and national level benefiting individuals with Down Syndrome."
