In this episode of Open Book, we hear from Becca Moulin and her son Elijah. Becca adopted Elijah. When she first met him, Elijah was in end-of-life care. Elijah has a very rare condition that the family continues to learn about. He continues to defy the odds. And two years later, he continues to push. Elijah loves the outdoors and he loves the wind in his hair. You will often find him on the trail in his huckleberry hiking chair, at the roller rink, bowling, or fishing.
