Episode #142: Open Book with iBRAIN

In this episode of Open Book, we hear from Patrick Donohue, founder and chairman of iBrain and Liberty and Freedom Legal Group. He is also Sarah Jane's Dad.

Sarah Jane was born happy and healthy on June 5, 2005.  When she was only five days old, the baby nurse hired to assist  violently shook her in the middle of the night, breaking four ribs, both collarbones and causing a severe brain injury due to Abusive Head Trauma, otherwise known as Shaken Baby Syndrome. That accident put in motion a rollercoaster of a journey for the Donohue Family. But a journey with purpose and drive to advocate for Sarah Jane and change the world along the way.

In 2018, iBrain lunched as a special education program. Its mission is to research, develop and implement special education and related services for students with brain injury and brain-based disorders. Brain injury does not just impact the student but the entire family and iBrain's programs are designed to support the entire family.

The goal is to have an iBrain in all 50 states and beyond.
