Best Shoes for my AFO's
"I love these shoes. They work perfect with my AFO's and they look like 100% normal every day footwear. My othotist told me about these and I have been wearing this brand ever since. With my condition taking some of my hand movement, the zipper on the shoes is the best thing!"

"I got these for my husband who had a stroke and is unable to dress himself. I have gotten so many compliments from his nursing staff on how easy they are are put on and off. It has taken the stress out of one element of his care and they look great and the adaptive laces are not super obvious so he can feel like his best self."
Professional Looking Adult Shoe
"Pros: As both an occupational therapist and a wheelchair user with AFOs, I appreciate that these shoes are easy to get on and off and look appropriate for an adult work setting. The collar height does not interfere with my hinged AFOs, and fits well around the foot and brace, though I do not have edema/swelling. Size is true to other past models. Cons: I will note the zipper quality for this model seems lower and less easy to zip than past versions of Billy's I've owned. I wish they would invest in a more heavy-duty zipper, especially given the high price of the shoe (when not discounted). I also do not like the rubberized coating of dots on the top of the toe, they just get dusty and make the toe look dirty rather than blend with the rest of the shoe fabric. Future: I hope that in the future Billy will expand their children's shoe models into adult sizes, and also invest more time into making more fashionable men's options at affordable prices, as currently there are many more womens and kids options than mens. It would be nice if they introduced a line of mens dress shoes and winter boots."

"I was anxious, buying another pair of shoes online. But your videos helped a lot to ease the my anxiety. Being able to buy two different sizes really helps a lot with my comfort putting on the shoe is not as easy as I thought with my drop foot. I just have to be careful with the tongue, not getting in the way of the zipper. I’m out walking, with just the afo not using a cane. I hope to buy another pair soon."
