"These shoes are good for now; appreciate the zipper as that way my son (42 yr old DD) can zip and unzip them himself. The zipper design is why I bought them plus the fact that I can order two different sizes though the size difference between the shoes to accommodate his one AFO brace cannot be helped (sz 8 and size 6). "I bought these as summer shoes for my 10 year old daughter. GOAT is the shoe type that her orthotist recommended. What I like about the high tops is that the zipper goes all the way to the toes making it super easy to get her foot in. My local shoemaker was able to slice off the tread and add 1 cm to the sole of the left shoe. She is super excited to wear them!"
