Best boots for tight heel cords
"I have looked for boots for my 37 year old daughter who has retracted heel cords and a significant foot drop. She refuses to wear her AFO’s so finding shoes that accommodate her needs are nearly impossible. Recently she has developed swelling to her feet and ankles as well. Oh and did I mention she is a child size 2? Thanks to Billy shoes she now can walk proudly in boots that support her feet, don’t look childish and she can actually get on without issue (she was wearing slippers in the snow)."

- The Cozy Boots do have tread similar to other boots of it’s kind. The tread is not considered “ non-slip though.

- Thank you for your question. A European 38 correlates to a US Women’s 7.5 or 8 and a Big Kid Size 6. Hope that helps :)
- Is a big kid size 7 the same as a woman's size 8 1/2?
- Great question. Yes, in terms of length, a Women’s 8.5 and Big Kid 7 will be similar. The Big Kid 7 will be a bit wider and have more volume though because the Big Kid 7 equates to a Men’s size 7. Hope that helps :)

- Can we use Chestnut BILLY Cozy Boots during winter in Canada? Are they waterproof?
- Thanks for the question. You are certainly free to use your Cozy Boots however you like, but they are not waterproof nor are they temperature rated. We will be launching our winter boots very soon. They are rated to -40 and have a waterproof bootie with nylon fabric water resistant shaft. We hope to have the winter boots on billyfootwear.com by Thanksgiving. If not, soon after. I think the winter boots will be a much better option for you if you can wait a bit longer :)
