"I bought these because I needed a professional-looking shoe as a teacher at a classical charter school and an adjunct instructor at a university, both of which require professional dress. I wish Billy would make similar shoes in their other styles for professionals who wear AFOs and need to look a certain way at work. My biggest concern is protecting my new carbon fiber AFOs from snapping."

"I love this shoe and how easy it is to get on my son's foot. I just wish we could purchase 2 different shoe sizes when buying these shoes that are designed for AFO's. My son's AFO foot is 2 sizes larger than his non AFO so I have to purchase 2 of everything. I would imagine all folks wearing AFO's and needing these types of shoes would also have to purchase two pairs of AFO's."

Love my Billies mostly
"Billy shoes are great. My first 2 pairs were wonderful, easy to put on over my AFO & comfortable to wear. I will continue to buy them. However the third pair came with a design change of adding a soft flange around the shoes against the zipper. It makes it harder to get my AFO into the shoe. It also makes the shoe feel smaller. I'm going to order my next pair 1/2 size larger to see if that helps."
