"My granddaughter had surgery on her right foot. After the cast was removed, she has to wear a brace for 3 months. We had to buy her a shoe to fit over the brace. She loves these shoes and they were also recommended by her surgeon."

"Living with Muscular Dystrophy and wearing full length, bi-lateral AFO's for 30+ years, these high tops add some ankle support to prevent my ankles turning out as I walk. The zippers remove the struggle of putting shoes on/off making these a must-have. As a fashion conscious woman, I really wish you would incorporate fun fabric patterns for adults like you do for kids - we like style, too! Only Grey and Black get boring and look old. In addition, ALL the soles of ALL your shoes should be slip resistant! None of the 6 pair of shoes I've bought from you are slip resistant, in wet conditions especially."

Room for improvement!
"This brand of shoes was a great concept but definitely need improved! The zippers are impossible to zip. I have Charcot Marie tooth and weak in hands. That being said my husband even struggles with them! Need a metal zipper or improve these!! For the cost, I shouldn’t have to fight and spend 15 mins just fighting the zipper!! The soles are fine. Style is great and I think I need a double wide to fit better with my afo’s. I would love to see more styles and would love to see some leather options over the canvas/fabric."

"My daughter has needed to wear AFOs from 9 y/o to 11 y/o. The Billy shoe brand is the best we have found for ease/comfort getting them on and keeping them on, and the most durable that we have found. My only complaint is there are a lot of fun colors/patterns for younger children, but those same patterns are not available in adult sizes. Most kids wear adult sizes before middle school, and they want those fun patterns too!"
